About me
Multisport Endurance Coach based in Murcia (Spain), coaching worldwide.
Knowledge and experience
I have always been passionate about endurance sports. My background was initially in cycling, where I raced in Road Cycling at Elite level, alongside earning a degree in Physiotherapy and a Master Degree in Sports Physiotherapy. This degree led me to work as Senior Physiotherapist for more than 15 years at a High Performance Training Centre. During this time I developed an interest in triathlon and coaching – I love guiding and supporting people to achieve their endurance sporting goals. This led to me working to achieve the highest level of Triathlon Coach Course by World Triathlon as well as myself adding swimming and running to my own equation to experience firsthand what training and racing for the multisport events would feel like.
Nowadays I have been an accomplished triathlete for more than a decade, racing in distances ranging from Sprint to 70.3 (mixing it up with racing in Road Cycling, MTB XCM, Trail Running, etc.). I have furthered my coaching experience and abilities by completing a Master Degree in Endurance Sports Training, gained the status of a USA Cycling Licensed Coach and a Training Peaks Certified Coach. I have also held the position of Head Coach in a Triathlon Club for several years, and of Sports Performance Manager in the triathlon mecca, the Club La Santa, as well as coaching many athletes to achieve their goals, both remotely and in person.
Alongside this coaching experience and learning I have qualified as a custom4us network Bike Fitter and running and swimming analysis.
I feel that all these experiences lead me to provide my coached athletes with the best guidance and support to achieve their sporting goals in triathlon running or cycling and place me in a unique position of being able to support all aspects of that to the highest level. Reach out and let me start supporting you!
